so i formally signed up for my first russian class this morning....it feels strange but somehow liberating to know that i am not defined by my occupation. as if i am tricking the business world, saying "i will be here physically but no further."we went to annie & paul's last night to watch the olympics, quite by accident. it seemed to be a very wholesome night, eating popsicles and watching gymnastics. i remember doing similar evenings in 1984 or 1988 in virginia - when the olympics were the height of evening entertainment - they almost had this magical aura about them.
