st. helens
the other day mount saint helens did her thing....but myself, and the rest of the riders on the #14 were apparently oblivious to the exploding mound of earth slightly to our left. i wish i'd seen it - there's something about seeing the earth figuratively breathe....or maybe it's angry at portland. there are so many things i love about this place....and so many things that make me think its sodom and gommorah.kings of convenience comes tonight to doug fir - it will be refreshing to hear some live music after winter's drought.....
jason and kimberly come saturday, and they'll bring the kind of comfort that only long standing friendships do.....
one week from today we leave for montana. i've missed the long roads.....
